• D.A.R.E- is a community program that consists of officers going into local schools to teach and prevent the use of drugs among youths.
• Carteret County Domestic Violence Program- this programs goal is to stop domestic violence and create safe housing for families. They do this by providing emergency assistance, referral information, court advocacy, hospital accompaniment, transportation help, and a twenty-four hour crisis line.
